Group Financial Manager - Must have dealership experience R40000 - R60000 Neg / West Rand
Our client is looking for a Group Financial Manager who is a qualified Chartered Accountant of SA (CA(SA) and is registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), with good experience in the same role, at a dealership. Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the multi-franchise dealerships. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing and reviewing the task performed by their bookkeepers/accountants, overseeing all financial tasks of the businesses, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health and compliance of the dealerships. Must be a hands on person. Tasks will comprise the following - cashflow management, planning & forecast, payments, bank account reconciliations, daily performance review of the dealerships, vehicle floorplan analysis, reconciliation, management and reporting, Debtors & Creditors aging analysis, cash outstanding for all divisions and accounts, work in progress reports, service plan submissions and claims, warranty submissions and claims, inventory aging and list of vehicles, stock, parts & accessories aging and list of stock, cash vehicles, fixed assets register control, commissions, oversight on payroll, monthly monitoring of floorplan scoring, parts stock take & recon, expense analysis and trend measurements, balance sheet recons, monthly management accounts, statutory returns for SARS VAT & PAYE and Stats SA, petty cash control, budgets & forecasts, and managing the external audit. Strong attention to detail and exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
