We are currently seeking a creative group head (art direction) to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. Role overview: As the creative group head, you will be responsible for conceptualising creative campaign strategies and translating them into high-quality digital and ATL campaigns, adhering to brand guidelines. We are looking for a solutions-driven individual with exceptional time-management skills and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will possess a can-do attitude and demonstrate strong leadership qualities to inspire and lead our vibrant creative team. Key responsibilities: Supervise and manage all production stages, ensuring seamless execution. Develop constructive working relationships with internal teams and contribute to building creative rationales. Share knowledge of creative trends and technologies within the team. Provide prompt support and constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate closely with client service and traffic teams on project management. Maintain passion for delivering high creative standards and remain updated on the latest digital marketing trends and techniques. Minimum requirements: Relevant degree or diploma in art direction or related field. Several years of experience as a senior art director or creative associate in an advertising/creative agency. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), with essential skills in FIGMA. Strong understanding of ATL and digital marketing principles and technology. Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to effectively manage campaigns under pressure. Proficient in the latest software and comfortable working on Mac platforms. Experience working on retail accounts is highly advantageous. Familiarity with photography trends and experience in TV/video, print, and digital media.
