JOB FUNCTION & PERFORMANCE DUTIES: Respond to website, email and telephonic enquiries accurately, timeously and courteously Handle guest enquiries while establishing rapport with guests during booking process Maintain effective customer relationships and actively resolve guest complaints, where possible; exercise judgement when escalating it to the Reservations Manager Ensure accurate detailed capturing of reservations (providing accurate information, quoting, booking, etc.) Maintain client database to ensure all guest information/details are complete Assist with maintaining an efficient administration system within the department Maximise sales, upselling of other revenue streams Develop in-depth product knowledge of all lodges, activities and USPs Keep lodges/relevant departments informed; follow up with regards to special instructions MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Matric Diploma / Degree in Hospitality Management (ESSENTIAL) Front of House experience at a 5 Game Reserve / Lodge (ESSENTIAL) Minimum of 5 years' Hospitality FOH experience at a 5 Game Reserve/Lodge Proficient on Protel (ESSENTIAL) Proficient on all MS Office packages (MS Word & MS Excel) Experienced in living, working & selling game reserve 5 hospitality packages (ESSENTIAL) Professional, well-spoken and presentable for international guests to SA Excellent command of the English Language (verbal & written) High level of telephone etiquette & excellent all-round communication skills Valid driver's licence (no endorsements) Contactable references & solid work history Live-in position excluding meals (3 weeks on / 1 week off cycle) SALARY ON OFFER: R16 000.00 PER MONTH LIVE-IN POSITION (MEALS EXCLUDED) Apply Now
