Job Description: As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a warm welcome and ensure a seamless check-in and check-out process. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive impression and maintaining high standards of customer service. Key Responsibilities: 1. Guest Relations: Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Assist with luggage and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions. 2. Check-in and Check-out: Efficiently handle guest registration and departure procedures, including processing payments, issuing room keys, and providing relevant information about the stay. 3. Communication: Serve as a central point of communication between guests and various hotel departments, ensuring that guest inquiries, requests, and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally. 4. Administrative Tasks: Maintain organized front desk operations by handling phone calls, emails, and correspondence effectively. Keep accurate records of guest information, payments, and transactions. 5. Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints and concerns with tact and diplomacy, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the guest's satisfaction. Escalate unresolved matters to management as necessary. 6. Safety and Security: Adhere to hotel security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Monitor lobby area and report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities. 7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency. 8. Professional Development: Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and services. Take advantage of training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role. Qualifications: Recent graduate from a reputable Hotel School or equivalent hospitality management program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in using hotel management software and office applications. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
