Human Resource Administrator - Durban

Purpose To support the HRBP team with comprehensive HR administration processes and act as a dedicated source to HRBP team to coordinate end to end HR administration. The Human Resource team needs a dynamic and administratively strong team player to assist in the daily tasks of the Human Resource Team. The successful candidate will be able to self-manage and be diligent in completing duties. Ad-hoc responsibilities would be included in this role and therefore it is important to manage time and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Capturing and supporting Payroll processes via the payroll system including new starters, transfers, terminations, etc. Ensure that all payroll information is vetted and accurate before loading on the payroll system. Completion of Payroll audits. Ensure that all payroll queries are dealt with timeously. Completion of all necessary UIF documentation. Supporting the HRBP with administrative requests including drafting contracts and capturing disciplinary issues Effectively and accurately perform and control HR administrative functions as well as adhere to payroll and employee benefits processes in line with agreed quality standards and timelines. Talent management including recruitment and selection. Recruiting through the ATS system and bulk recruitment initiatives. Completing reference, ITC and criminal checks. Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures. Build and support effective business relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders by initiating and maintaining regular interactions. Partnering with Store Leaders and store teams to effectively implement payroll and recruitment administration. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity. Key Experience Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management / Industrial Psychology. A valid driver’s license with own car. Microsoft office proficiency. Microsoft Excel intermediate knowledge. Minimum of 3 years Human Resource administration skills experience including payroll capturing and recruitment.
