My client is urgently seeking a Documentation Controller (Air/Sea and Road) to join their team based in PE/DBN or CPT- Please note this is for a 6-month contract. Liaising with shippers to submit required documents within deadline Opening and assigning files on CRM for all Reefer Letter of Credit Shipments to country of origin for all fruit consignments (Citrus- Apples, Pears, Oranges, Mandarins etc.) Checking Letters of Credit for discrepancies and informing clients of amendments that need to be requested from the bank in Bangladesh in order for us to comply with same Completing the Documentation Template with all shipment information Completing of Export Certificate templates Framing of Country-of-Origin Templates with necessary LC information Requesting Radiation Testing Certificates from NECSA Creating all Beneficiary Certificates required for the Letter of Credit Checking drafts received from Shipping line for accuracy – and confirm approval to print Bill of Lading to Shipping Line Monitoring of stack dates, vessel ETA's and ETD's Follow up of invoices from Shipping Lines Checking accuracy of invoices and uploading same on internal CRM system Requesting of credits or credit/re-debits if and when necessary. Send Freight Payment requests together with invoices to Shippers and Accounts Department Monitoring of Freight Payments Submitting Cargo dues and Bills of Entry received from Customs department to Shipping line for bill release Requesting of Manifest Amendments when necessary Sending LC Copy documents within specified deadline to Shippers and Consignees for approval Tracking of containers on all consignments on different Shipping line websites Tracking of DHL Documents sent to POD's for various consignments Compiling tracking and summary reports and sending to Shippers on a weekly basis Filing of completed files Matric non negotiable Degree/Diploma/ Certificate in Freight forwarding / Import / exports - Advantageous 3 years minimum experience dealing hand in hand with all import and export docmentation on PERISHABLES (Fruit/Citrus) - NON NEGOTIABLE 3 years minimum multimodal transport experience (Air,Sea and Road) - NON NEGOTIABLE R25 000.00-R38 000.00
