The primary responsibility of the role is to provide the business with end-to-end hardware and software support and technical problem solving. Key focus areas include: Setting up of new employees with IT/technology requirements/accesses Ordering/purchasing of IT hardware IT technical support with problems (troubleshooting) Manage IT changes (i.e.: upgrades) Management of asset register and IT storeroom Undertake vendor and stakeholder liaison management Manage access cards and cameras What will make you successful in this role? Qualification & experience : Grade 12 or equivalent IT related qualification: i.e.: IT Engineering Diploma 5 years experience as IT support in a call centre environment Knowledge and skills: IT: MS: Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook) MS: Teams Microsoft Windows Dialer tools: Thought Express; Vici dialer; Mintinga Virus applications Servers, networks and firewalls SCCM application CA Service catalogue Service Desk Broad Hardware and Software technical knowledge (set up and configure) Business: Financial services industry knowledge (basic) Call centre operations and sales/customer dialling processes Procurement and purchasing/invoicing processes Asset registers/management Stock and supply chain management Risk management (business continuity relating to IT) Vendor and stakeholder management/SLA management Personal attributes: Service orientation Pro-active/ takes initiative Accountable, takes responsibility Quality orientation/attention to detail Problem solver Good communicator Good time management and daily planning Optimises work processes Qualification and Experience Degree or Diploma and the required Certification with 4 to 6 years related experience.
