Our client in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Junior Accountant / Senior Bookkeeper to join their finance team in Industria, Johannesburg. In this position you will be working closely with the Financial Manager and Director with day-to-day tasks. Capturing and Processing of bank statements Preparation of Trial balance and assistance with Management accounts Preparing and processing invoices and payments Assisting the Financial Manager and Director with tasks on a daily and monthly basis Proven work experience as an Accountant/Bookkeeper or similar role (min 4 years). A degree/diploma in Accounting/Bookkeeping. Hands-on experience with accounting software - Pastel advantageous. Strong knowledge of Excel. R20 000 - R30 000 CTC per month depending on experience and qualifications.
