Junior Sales Representative (Gauteng) - Johannesburg

Job Purpose: The experienced Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and expanding the market presence of our products within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role involves actively engaging with new and existing clients, implementing sales strategies, and participating in achieving team goals to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Sales Execution: Directly engage with clients to promote and sell products, ensuring alignment with our strategic sales goals. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with current and potential clients, including follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Market Penetration: Assist in identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in both existing and emerging market segments. Product Demonstration: Conduct demonstrations and presentations of our products to illustrate their benefits and features to clients and potential customers. Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and market intelligence, sharing insights with the Regional Sales Manager to influence future sales strategies and product developments. Sales Reporting: Regularly update sales activity and client information in the CRM system; prepare accurate reports on sales outcomes and forecasting as required by the Regional Sales Manager. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the sales team to achieve collective targets; participate in team meetings and share best practices. Technical Support Assistance: Provide initial technical guidance to clients regarding product specifications, usage, and integration, coordinating with technical support teams for detailed inquiries. Training Participation: Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with sales processes and documentation requirements, maintaining high standards of professionalism. Measures of Success: Achievement of individual sales targets. Positive feedback from clients on professionalism and service quality. Contribution to the expansion of the company's client base and market presence. Effective collaboration and communication within the sales team. Accurate and timely reporting and CRM updates. Location: Based in our Johannesburg office, this position includes regular travel within South Africa and to other parts of the Sub-Saharan region. The role also offers flexibility to occasionally work from home when needed. Skills and experience Sales Experience Experience in the Paints, Coatings, Road Marketings industry Field sales experience, identifying potential; increasing market share; creating new customers; supporting existing customers; key account management; improving margins. Proven experience in a similar role Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas. Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships. Ability to use Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Self-motivated Able to develop strong customer relationships. Ability to think strategically. Able to work independently. Able to travel extensively with some overnight stays. Valid driving licence and own vehicle Matric Essential Apply Now
