What You Will Do The Key Account Manager (Pick n Pay & Massmart Group) will be responsible for all elements of Key Account Management including strategy definition, supporting the National Account Manager and execution of Johnson & Johnson Brands to meet the business sales objective. The KAM will enrich the execution of Brand/Shopper /Market insights and strategies at a Key Account and in-Store Level. This role will also have an end-to-end focus on operational execution, supporting our field operations team to deliver best in class practices. Key Responsibilities Managing the key account activities within the Pick n Pay & Massmart Group Develop and execute a Key Account Specific plans with Pick n Pay & Massmart Group Achievement of Key performance measures - Sales, Budgets, GP, Share, NPI Speed-To-Market, Distribution and In Market pricing. Using Market, Consumer and Shopper insights to build and execute Key Account specific objectives. Effectively allocating and managing resources to support Key Account specific strategies and “BIG BETS”. Build and leverage relationships to drive sales across the Pick n Pay & Massmart Group Leading & supporting operational execution within Pick n Pay Franchise to achieve best in class in-store execution. Drive sales from DC’s to stores Participation in key forums when required (Forecasting, Nielsen, Marketing/shopper insight sessions, Market research, national negotiations, etc) Develop and manage the JBP process where applicable. Dimensions / Key Performance Indicators Achieve volume, NTS, share and GP targets by Strategic Customer Achieve specific Customer Objectives targets Achieve annual trade promotions/ advertising and pricing budgets Achieve supply chain KPI’s (forecast accuracy, case fill, order fill, DOT, % credit Notes) Achieve innovation & POP targets by customer (on-shelf availability, ranging, merchandising, forward share, pricing, promotions) Selling and admin costs within budget Achieve personal development targets for self. Qualifications What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications Relevant business degree Minimum 5-7 years in a customer-facing role within the FMCG/ Healthcare & preferably has Key Account experience. Ability to work cross-functionally. Project Management Strong Commercial, analytical and financial acumen Effective Negotiator Excellent influencing, communication and presenting skills Able to build relationships Strong command of the English language essential Team Player Able to understand and work with Data Excel, PowerPoint Acquire knowledge of the Quality Management System that have been adopted by the RAMET Cluster of Marketing Companies and the relevant Quality System Procedures that are applicable to the job through inclusion of related processes and procedures in the individual training plan and implementation of these procedure in the applicable job-related processes. Maintain 100 % adherence in training plan timeliness and ensure appropriate application of relevant Quality and Compliance processes and procedures to the job.
