Key Account Manager MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE In line with the companies purpose; to be a catalyst for Growth: Grow our customers, grow our communities, grow our continent and ultimately grow our people The Office Based Accounts Manager role encompasses this purpose in its entirety. As a Key Account Manager your are responsible for managing a portfolio of Key Accounts in the company. Responsible for establishing & maintaining loyal customer relationships with the intention increasing Customer Lifetime Value through implementing effective key account strategies. KNOWLEDGE Sales, marketing and industry knowledge Payment, banking, or retail industries Customer relationship management Sales Process IT software / SAAS and sales background Merchant Acquiring Retail and payments industry experience would be an advantage PCI regulations and understanding would be an advantage Accounting knowledge Basic understanding of business finance Industry knowledge - specific to retail or banking (acquiring) industry SKILLS High sales focus and customer orientation Effective networking skills Excellent selling and closing skill Excellent communication skills both verbal and written A minimum 3 year's sales, service, or related industry experience High integrity Independent, driven and disciplined Street smart and commercial Not afraid of challenges, objections and rejection Confident and persuasive but not arrogant Results and solutions focused High ownership and accountability Professional Willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime, if required A valid driver's license and own reliable transport Above all - must be able to sell and bring in the revenue LEADERSHIP Maximize growth opportunities through a high level of business acumen and being technically savvy. Drive and live organizational values and be an example REQUIRED: EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Minimum Matric (NQF Level 4) Relevant Diploma Business / General Management qualification (NQF Level 6) 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Intermediate knowledge of internet usage FICA training/experience advantageous Desired B Com Business Administration (NQF Level 7) 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Intermediate knowledge of internet usage FICA training/experience advantageous Ideal BCom Honours Business Administration (NQF Level 8) 5 years' experience working in a corporate sales environment Experience in using a CRM tool for managing customers Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Intermediate knowledge of internet usage FICA training/experience advantageous KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Customer Relationship Management Responsible for establishing & maintaining loyal customer relationships with the intention of increasing Customer Lifetime Value and Reducing Churn through implementing effective key account strategies Effectively manages adumo's interfaces with key accounts to ensure that the account is being serviced in an efficient and integrated way Proactively seeks and actions new opportunities in own area to develop the business commercially Solves problems independently. Breaks complex issues into manageable parts & recommends steps to resolve the problem. Planning, Measuring & Monitoring the Financial Performance of the Business Customer Value Proposition Demonstrates an understanding of the company's value propositions and how to apply this in selling Able to use the most appropriate propositions to maximise value to company Market Awareness Understands market dynamics and relevance to business Is able to achieve a competitive advantage through application of this knowledge Commercial Acumen Able to analyse prospects, deals and put forward proposals that enables Adumo to maximise the potential for that particular deal Creates a win-win solution based on understanding of business objectives and customer nee Desired Skills: Merchant Acquiring Key Account Management Key Account Development Area Sales Merchant services payment services Sales Rep cross selling Business Acumen New Business Development Desired Work Experience: 5 to 10 years About The Employer: FINTEC & Merchant Acquiring Employer & Job Benefits: Commission Pertol card Apply Now
