Key Accounts Manager - Driving evolution A local, high-growth, dynamic and energetic manufacturer and supplier of stationery and books is looking for a highly experienced Key Account Manager to join the team, managing key accounts, maintaining long-term relationships and maximizing sales opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying opportunities to up-sell, organize and lead periodical account reviews, communicate with all departments to resolve customer issues and provide substantial information relating to sales plans and reports. This is an exciting opportunity in the retail market, looking for a hardworking, trustworthy, and organized person, with a strong ability to multi-task. A can-do attitude is a must, along with the ability to learn quickly, and adapt to a demanding and changing work environment. The Position: Office based permanent position situated in Germiston. The pay range on offer is R40 000.00 to R55 000.00 (Negotiable) CtC Package Per Month. Requirements: South African with a valid South African ID Completed Matric Own reliable transport with valid drivers license Strong MS Excel proficiency Analytical role required to understand large volumes of data and implement strategies based on that data Communicate effectively with large mass retail buyers Responsibilities: Promoting products and services to Key Account customers Updating customers on market trends and innovative/new products Following up on customer requests, orders placed, out of stock situations and provide feedback to customers Identifying opportunities to grow the market share by planning, executing and achieving sales growth Achieving agreed sales volumes and margins in line with the budget and the company's performance objectives Monitor and analyze account data and optimize continuous business performance Negotiating pricing at a senior level to maintain and grow profit margins Your brand should become the preferred brand for the customer When customers think about the category your brand should come to mind first Regular activations need to be planned to create excitement in the category Supervising the merchandising and sales teams and companies responsible for the relevant accounts Overall healthy share of shelf to be ensured in the category at all times Providing our customer base with service which surpasses that of any competitors in the market Work references, criminal checks and qualification checks will be done on the successful candidate.
