Represent clients at the Labour Court; CCMA and Bargaining Councils Drafting of opinions, employment contracts, policies, strategic correspondence, settlement agreements and disciplinary charge sheets Dispute resolution counselling and conflict management Due diligence investigations on all aspects of employment law Conducting and providing advice to clients in respect of internal disciplinary hearings Perform quality work and maintain solid relationships with clients to ensure that the firm continues to get work from clients Represent the firm internally and externally in negotiation, disputes, consultations and other proceedings that require Labour legal representation Carry out such other tasks as may be assigned by partners of the firm Collect fees from clients Minimum Requirements: LLB Degree Admitted Attorney 3 - 7 years post admission experience Rights to appear in court Strong skills in drafting a variety of Labour and employment law documents and communicating complex issues clearly and concisely Extremely well organized with excellent follow through Enthusiasm for the development of our professionals Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Entrepreneurial and self- motivated Multi-task and effectively prioritize competing demands on time and attention Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as required Ability to work independently and capacity to work with other professionals including non-legal professionals Ability to communicate and function in a culturally diverse environment Ability to review under strict deadlines long and complex legal documents For more information please contact: Zandile Nxumalo
