As a Legal Collections Call Centre Agent, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls relating to legal collections, ensuring a positive customer experience while successfully collecting outstanding debts. This is a great opportunity to build a career in the legal collections industry with a reputable and growing company. - Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers regarding their outstanding debts - Provide empathetic and professional assistance, understanding their financial circumstances and offering solutions to help them make payments - Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements based on company guidelines and legal and regulatory requirements - Update customer information and legal documentation accurately and in a timely manner - Meet individual and team collection targets to contribute to the overall success of the department - Comply with all legal and regulatory guidelines and company policies and procedures - Use the company's collection software and additional tools effectively to manage accounts and track progress - Address customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes with diplomacy and professionalism - Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and compliance, to resolve customer issues and ensure compliance - Continuously develop knowledge of legal collections practices and stay updated on industry trends and regulations - Matric - Previous experience in a call center environment, preferably in legal collections or a related field, is a plus - Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to engage customers over the phone - Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to secure payment arrangements - Ability to handle difficult customers and diffusing tense situations with empathy and professionalism - Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software systems quickly - Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills - Ability to work well in a fast-paced and target-driven environment - Resilience and perseverance to handle objections and rejection - Willingness to comply with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards R7000 CTC per month incentives
