Our client based in Aspen South of Johannesburg is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join them. Key requirements Proven experience in relevant role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent knowledge of office, organizational skills and office management software Inventory control and analyzing information Relevant qualifications Key responsibilities Facilitate delivery of fuel from one destination to another Arrange transportation, schedule staff and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay Coordinate delivery and provide ETA's Prepare load schedule daily Take steps to avoid quality control issues Manage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met Continually review costs, transportation rates, to keep costs down where possible Streamline transportation processes Provide admin support to ensure efficient operation of office Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques
