Logistics Marketing Consultant - Goodwood
Together with our client, a logistics company we are recruiting for a Road Freight Sales Representative based in Good Wood, Cape Town. The ideal candidate must have 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the road freight/logistics industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Sourcing and establishing new clients Maintaining business relationships Maintain a strong customer service attitude Assist and resolve queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients Providing training and assisting customers with the Company track and online website Achieving monthly budgets; Both Existing and New business budget Completing daily CRM report Ensure all clients are visited within 40 days Growing existing business and cross-selling with existing clients Assisting the debtor’s department with a collection of outstanding monies as and when required Printing of waybills and labels, if required Innovating new business opportunities General contribution toward sales team Assistance in the customer service department as and when required Dealing with all relevant warehouse queries in a friendly and courteous manner Ensure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date Qualifications: Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 12 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in road freight/logistics Skills: Knowledge of Company standards and procedures, processes, and systems. Communication skills and telephone etiquette Technical Competence Creative thinking Detail-oriented Customer Service Driven Computer Skills Organized, Fast Thinker Problem Solver Hard working, Reliable Salary: R 25 000.00 – R 30 000.00 CTC per month Medical Aid Pension Fund Only candidates who meet all the requirements stipulated in this advert will be considered.
