Management Accountant - Johannesburg
Our client has an opportunity available for a Management Accountant. Requirements: BCom degree with a finance related major. Post graduate degree is advantageous. Proficiency in SAP. Proficiency in data analysis tools. 5 to 8 years of Budget and Forecasting and Cost Accounting and Cost Control experience. Financial analytical skills. Financial Planning Implementation and enhancement. PFMA reporting. Knowledge of SAP Business Intelligence and Business Warehouse. Loading Budgets on SAP. Ability to work on complex financial models. Responsibilities: Ensure that the operational expenditure budget is aligned with the business strategy. Ensure accounting activities comply with relevant legal, professional and ethical standards. Maintain and update systems and procedures and maintain a sound control environment. Ensure compliance of the PFMA submissions. Create and maintain cost and profit master data on SAP. Attend to other ad-hoc requests. Promote and participate in knowledge sharing with team members. Provide support and professional advice to the cost center owners and executive managers. Monthly and quarterly reporting to relevant stakeholders and governance structures. Manage and coordinate the consolidation of IFWE reporting for the group.
