Responsibilities include but not limited to: Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge Managing, Overseeing and Disciplining Staff Hosting Duties, Allocation of Airport Transfers Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed Reporting to Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office Staff Management: Wage costs and staff welfare, Staff discipline, and Staff training Financial: Budget control and ensuring budgets are maintained Stock control and stock takes Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures Rooms Division Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically Food and Beverage and Kitchen Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard Assist with Events planning and execution Assist with menu planning and cost control
