Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery. The mechanical fitter will work closely with the engineering team to ensure all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications
Install and align machinery and equipment
Perform routine maintenance on mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment
Maintain accurate records of work performed
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Collaborate with engineers and other team members on projects

Requirements:

High school, diploma, or equivalent
Completion of a mechanical fitter apprenticeship program is preferred / Trade Certificate
Proven experience as a mechanical fitter in an engineering or industrial environment
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Good communication and teamwork skills
