Manufacturing Plant based in Pietermaritzburg, requires the fill the position of a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our dynamic team. Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps. Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues efficiently. Ensuring smooth operation of production lines through timely repairs and adjustments. Installing, calibrating, and maintaining new equipment. Reading and interpreting technical manuals and electrical schematics (24V & 380V). Maintaining a safe and clean work environment. A completed Millwright Trade Test – Red Seal (mandatory). Minimum of 7 years of experience working in a factory environment (a plus). Solid understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps. Proficiency in electrical circuits, particularly 24V & 380V systems. Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
