Manufacturing Plant based in Pietermaritzburg, requires the fill the position of a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of our electrical systems. Diagnose and repair electrical faults in low and high voltage systems (24V up to 380V). Interpret and utilize complex electrical drawings and schematics with ease. Maintain and troubleshoot PLC control systems to ensure optimal machine operation. Install, test, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment and components. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure electrical safety. Work collaboratively with other technicians and engineers to achieve common goals. Adhere to all safety regulations and industry standards. Qualified Electrician with a completed Red Seal qualification. Minimum of 7 years of experience working in a factory environment. Strong understanding of low and high voltage systems and their associated safety protocols. Expert in reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC systems. Experience with 24-volt systems is a strong asset. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a team. Competitive salary and benefits package.
