Normandien Farms (PTY) Ltd, requires the services of qualified Electrician/Millwright Electrical to be based in Piet Retief. Responsible for planned and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment. Responding timeously to breakdown requests to ensure production runs optimally and efficiently to meet targets. Inspect all machinery, equipment, and buildings of the facility. Ensure adherence to the OHSACT and company policies and procedures. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machinery and equipment. Project / Installation Work All Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC, Electrical and Mechanical work, and fault finding - ensuring minimum downtime in the event of machine breakdowns. To do preventative maintenance and repair daily and assume responsibility of all maintenance work, and setup and maintain preventative maintenance systems. Performing maintenance activities and plant inspections as well as alterations, modifications, and installation of equipment. A qualified Electrician/Millwright with trade test A minimum of 3 - 5 years maintenance experience in a production environment, Sawmilling experience would be advantageous. Experience with high and low voltage. Electrical circuit troubleshooting skills. Experience in automation would be advantageous. Knowledge of PLC's required - Moderate to strong PLC experience including programming and troubleshooting. Good trouble shooting skills. Must be able to work on standby on a roster basis.
