Hire Resolve's client, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Mine Overseer to join their team. The Mine Overseer is responsible for overseeing all mining operations within the designated mine site. This includes maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, managing production schedules, and ensuring that all mining activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Mine Overseer will also be responsible for managing a team of mining supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement production plans to meet production targets while maintaining safety standards- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies- Supervise and coordinate the activities of mining supervisors and operators- Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning- Manage inventory of mining supplies and equipment to ensure availability for production needs- Develop and implement training programs for mining staff to enhance skills and knowledge- Prepare and maintain production reports and documentation for management review- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure coordination and efficiency of mining operationsQualifications:- Grade 12- Mine Overseer’s Certificate of Competency for Scheduled Mines- 7 years’ experience in managing a deep shaft environment.- Strong knowledge of mining techniques, equipment, and safety regulations- Excellent leadership and communication skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and mining software programsBenefits:Salary: R900 000 - R1.0Mil/yrPaid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing moveOur client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Menina Campher, Janoke Booysen, Katijah Aboobaker, Stefnie Bestbier and Esmari Marais at Hire Resolve or on LinkedInYou can also visit the Hire Resolve website: hireresolve.us or email us your CV: Mininghireresolve.za.comWe will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
