National Corporate Sales Manager - South Africa

The National Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals who are focused on selling education and training solutions to the business-to-business (B2B) market. This role entails overseeing sales activities both locally and nationally, developing and implementing sales strategies, and achieving sales targets. The National Corporate Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and ensuring the success of the organization's B2B sales efforts. Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team that is motivated to achieve sales targets. Provide guidance, coaching, and training to the sales team to enhance their skills and productivity. Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular performance feedback to team members. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and effective communication. Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets. Identify and target potential B2B customers both locally and nationally. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for business expansion. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B clients, understanding their needs and providing excellent customer service. Develop strategic partnerships with industry influencers, associations, and other relevant stakeholders. Act as a point of contact for resolving escalated customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor sales team performance. Regularly analyze sales data and generate reports to track progress, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Conduct sales forecasting and ensure accurate pipeline management. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in B2B sales. Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize sales operations and enhance efficiency. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in sales management, preferably in B2B sales. Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions. Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships. Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance tracking tools. Willingness to travel as needed for business purposes.
