Payroll Administrator - - Port Elizabeth

Overview / Purpose of the job:

Compile and record employee time and payroll data. May compute employees' time worked, production, and commission. May compute and post wages and deductions or prepare paychecks

Min Requirements:

Diploma of 1 to 3 years / NQF level 6
3 - 5 years’ experience
VIP Premier Payroll
NBCRFLI (bargaining council) experience preferred
MS Excel advanced
Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

Responsible for capturing the bi-weekly and monthly attendance registers into excel from manual forms.
Insert complex formulas for the attendance registers
Ensure accuracy of the attendance registers.
Submit attendance register to Financial Manager for approval and formula check
Process leave onto VIP and NBCRFLI site
Ensure all leave forms are submitted and accounted for
Prepare Performance Based Reward (PBR) calculations on attendance register and submit to site HR office
Receive all PBR adjustments from site HR office
Amend and finalize PBR figures and submit to payroll administrator
Prepare stats per fortnight on PBR figures and submit to director
Assist payroll administrator with payroll queries
Complete exit documents (withdrawal forms, UI19 certificates & certificate of service)
Confirm employment of employees with 3rd parties.
Review monthly payroll
