We are seeking a young energetic person to join our growing team as a Payroll Manager/Adminastrator. This is a position where you will manage and maintain a portfolio of clients payroll requirements with the assistance of our Accountant Managers and support staff. You will focus on all Payroll, Tax and statutory related services. The company has a hybrid working model with flexi time. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for the entire payroll process for all our clients, ensuring all the payroll capturing has been done on time. This role includes maintaining payroll records, filing tax reports, preparing financial documents, and generating special reports for management Key Responsibilities: Maintain and process payroll records with high accuracy. Manage a portfolio of client's payroll activities, including month-end processes, compliance and statutory requirements. Resolve all payroll queries. Prepare detailed payroll summaries and reports. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll department and how to grow the business division. Take responsibility of all statutory compliance requirements. SARS, UIF, COIDA, CIPC A tertiary qualification isn't a necessity, but would be advantageous. Payroll experience essential. Proficiency in using payroll software or systems for end-to-end payroll processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex payroll calculations and reconciliations. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple payrolls and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Person will have to have a strong personality to manage staff and ensure everything is in order. Good work ethics, ability to cope under pressure and prioritise. Advanced proficiency in Excel.
