Our client is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join the Krugersdorp, Gauteng team, · Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and production targets. · Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth production processes. · Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste. · Supervise and train production staff to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols. · Monitor and analyze production data, such as yield, downtime, and quality metrics, to identify trends and implement corrective actions as needed. · Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to optimize production and minimize costs. · Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies. · Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement within the production team. · Grade 12 · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field. · Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production management role in a manufacturing environment. · Polymer / extrusion industry experience preferred, · Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality management systems. · Experience with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. · Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a diverse team. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.
