Production Supervisor - East Johannesburg

Responsible for the day to day management of people within production, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, ensuring that Staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; study methods; implement cost reductions; develop reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments. Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplish work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analysing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintain compliance with established policies and procedures. Resolve personnel problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Supervision Coaching Tracking Budget Expenses Production Planning Strategic Planning Financial Planning and Strategy Grade 12 Strong knowledge and experience in factory production Own reliable transport and valid drivers licence Must reside in the East Rand of Johannesburg Previous experience as a Production supervisor is a must CANDIDATES WHO DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE REQUREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
