Job Description

You will be responsible for the following key functions:

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in collecting and analyzing cost data for manufacturing processes
Help prepare and maintain cost accounting records and reports
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies
Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation processes
Support in the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Assist with external audits as needed
Provide support to the Senior Cost Accountant and Finance Manager as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, completed articles would be beneficial.

Skills

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Basic understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (ERP), SYSPRO essential.
Valid drivers license
