Activate non-paying accounts Recover bad debts Follow up on bad debt accounts for repayment / arrangements Daily follow up on Promise to Pays / Broken PTPS / unpaid debit orders Set up debit orders Daily follow up on unpaid debit orders Handle statement requests from clients Handle settlement requests from clients Send legal letters Maintain customer contact information on the collections systems Query resolution (inbound and outbound calls) Manage the Recoveries inbox Prepare legal handovers Liaise with Attorneys and external Debt Collection agencies Update defaults with the Credit Bureau Follow up on deceased estates, liquidations, and debt review matters Proven late stage / recoveries collections experience Experience dealing with business rescue, liquidation, and debt review matters (advantageous) Strong computer skills, Salesforce (essential) Advanced MS Excel Able to work in a pressurised, fast paced and ever-changing environment Able to work in a team and on your own Must be very organised, flexible, able to solutions to problems, multitask and work under pressure Must be trustworthy, reliable, and responsible Must be target and outcome driven
