We are looking to hire a Release Train Engineer to one of our reputable clients teams. The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a pivotal role within the Agile framework, responsible for orchestrating and facilitating the Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution. The RTE serves as a servant leader and coach, guiding multiple Agile teams through planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and timely product releases. This will be for a 12 month contract based in Johannesburg in a hybrid working arrangement. Responsibilities: Agile Release Train (ART) Facilitation Program Increment (PI) Planning Continuous Delivery and Integration Stakeholder Management Coaching and Mentoring Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required. SAFe® Agilist (SA) or Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification highly desirable. Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role in an Agile environment. Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices, particularly SAFe® (Scaled Agile Framework). Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or VersionOne. Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on servant leadership, empowerment, and continuous improvement.
