Responsibilities:- Managing & overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail store, including opening and closing procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Managing and training of teams in departments
- Setting performance expectations, providing coaching and reviewing department requirements on a day-to-day basis
- Ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
- Handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and increase revenue.
- Monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Managing inventory levels, ordering merchandise, and ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Monitoring inventory turnover and implementing strategies to minimize losses.
- Assist in managing the store budget and expenses, inventory costs. and other such financial requirements
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment for employees and customers.
- Building and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers
Requirements:- Minimum Matric Non-Negotiable with Tertiary Education high advantageous
- Minimum 5 Years Manager experience within FMCG/ Retail Industry
- Ability to work retail hours/ weekends.
- Driver's license and own vehicle non-negotiable
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead teams and departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and office package
Remuneration:
Market Related & Negotiable depending on experience.
