Safety Officer - Ellisras
We are looking for a Safety Officer with atleast 2 years experience and Environmental experience will be an advantage. Requirements: Grade 12 National Diploma in Safety Management registered with SACPCMP SAMTRAC HIRA Legal Liability Fall Protection Root Course analysis Risk Assessment Incident Investigation First Aid Clear Criminal Check Computer Literate Great written/oral communications skills and attention to detail. Duties: Implement and maintain health and safety standards. Advise the SHERQ Manager and Site Manager on all HSE related matters. Conduct worksite daily inspections, prepare reports and correct unsafe conditions and practices. Conduct Hazard Identification and risk assessment, recommend risk mitigating controls to the management team. Ensure all employees, visitors and contractors on site are inducted. Management of Records: Checklists, Registers, Physical Files. Ensure all PPE stock issued is recorded on issue registers and submission of weekly PPE Stock Reports. Maintain Action Plan, ensure all findings are closed out. Ensure all contractor safety files are audited and approved before work commences. Assist with incident investigation and ensure findings are closed out.
