Technical and Product Expertise - Understand Cloud-Based Solutions: Gain a solid understanding of cloud computing fundamentals, including SaaS models, cloud security, and the specific advantages of deploying contact centres in the cloud. - AWS Knowledge: Acquire a high-level understanding of AWS services relevant to contact centres, such as Amazon Connect and the broader AWS ecosystem. This includes understanding how these services can be integrated into a customer's existing infrastructure. 2. Sales Strategy and Business Development - Market Analysis: Analyse and identify market trends and demands in the contact centre industry. Understand how shifts towards cloud solutions are affecting potential customer bases. - Lead Generation and Prospecting: Develop strategies for identifying and engaging potential customers. Utilise a variety of tools and techniques, including CRM software, social media platforms, and networking events. 3. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management - Consultative Selling: Employ a consultative sales approach to understand and address the specific needs and pain points of each prospect. Tailor communications and demonstrations to highlight the benefits of cloud-based solutions in resolving these challenges. - Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within potential client organisations. This involves regular follow-up and providing ongoing value through industry insights and product updates. 4. Solution Selling and Presentation - Customised Proposals: Design and propose customised solutions that leverage AWS capabilities to meet the unique requirements of each client. This might include scalability, security, compliance, and integration with other cloud services. - Demonstrations and Pilots: Conduct detailed product demonstrations and potentially oversee pilot projects to showcase the benefits of the solution in real-time. 5. Negotiation and Closure - Contract Negotiations: Lead negotiations, addressing pricing, terms, and SLAs (Service Level Agreements). Ensure that contracts align with customer expectations as well as organisational goals and policies. - Deal Closure: Efficiently close deals by resolving any final issues and coordinating with both technical and executive teams to ensure a smooth agreement and transition. 6. Collaboration and Internal Coordination - Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with technical, marketing, and product teams within the organisation to ensure that the product offerings are aligned with market needs and that all customer commitments can be met. - Feedback Loop: Provide feedback from customers to product management and development teams to help shape future product enhancements and releases based on market demands. 7. Performance Metrics and Reporting - Sales Targets: Meet or exceed predefined sales targets, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and regularly update CRM systems with status on leads and opportunities. - Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress, market conditions, and potential for new market penetration. Relevant Degree or Diploma plus solid cloud and or AWS experience with a proven track record selling cloud based solutions.
