Job Summary:
The Senior Office Furniture Designer & Factory Management Specialist assumes a leadership role in creating technical drawings and plans for woodworking products while also actively participating in factory management tasks and problem solving initiatives.
This multifaceted position involves optimizing material use, ensuring compliance with standards, resolving technical issues, and overseeing aspects of factory operations to maintain efficiency.
Lead the review of design specifications to optimize material efficiency and production feasibility
Drive the creation of detailed technical drawings and plans for woodworking products
Ensure strict adherence to all relevant standards and regulations in every aspect of design
Collaborate closely with the production team to validate the feasibility and quality of plans, providing guidance and expertise
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes, integrating them into design practices where appropriate
Provide leadership and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of designs with customer requirements Offer expert technical support to the production team, proactively addressing questions and swiftly resolving design-related issues.
Take charge of factory management tasks, including overseeing production schedules, resource allocation, and workflow optimization
Lead problem-solving efforts during machinery breakdowns or technical challenges, working hands-on to minimize downtime and maintain productivity
Maintain meticulous records of all designs, plans, and production activities, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall factory efficiency and effectiveness
Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD, with extensive experience in woodworking design
Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successful team collaboration
