A well-established plastic and packaging injection / blow moulding manufacturer requires the above to provide operational and supply chain excellence to achieve production volumes, quality and efficiencies required in running a world-class manufacturing facility. Minimum requirements for the role: A diploma in management, engineering, technology, or related is preferred. Previous training courses conducted in OHS, ISO and plastics are essential for this role. Previous experience having worked within an injection moulding plastics and or related manufacturing environment is essential for the role. Must have experience in raw materials, quality systems and standards, management principles, human resource principles, machines and tools. Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for presentations. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Driving and managing operational excellence to achieve production volumes, quality and efficiencies required in running a world-class manufacturing facility. Implementing, controlling, reviewing and adjusting production schedule as required. Overseeing and managing material requirements. Managing the full operations of the company and ensuring that all teams carry out their roles as required. Managing and overseeing material requirements to meet production targets. Overseeing and managing equipment, modifications and procedures. Ensuring that operating, quality, safety and HR standards and procedures are adhered to. Enforcing quality control on all production, tracking programs and ensuring all objectives are met. Determining and implementing improvements to the production process. Presenting production / operational reports at EXCO. Estimating production costs, setting and managing budgets, and implementing cost control programs. Managing and driving collaboration between relevant departments - procurement, sales, warehouse and finance. Driving strategy execution and direction from the shareholders to ensure that the company. Achieving its strategic, operational, and financial vision, mission, and long-term goals. Ensuring that the company's short-term and long-term objectives and strategic goals were achieved. Driving operational overview of the key processes. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
