Shipping Controller / Imports & Exports Clerk - DBN (Clothing Industry) - - Durban

Monitor, consolidate and approve shipments & clearances with agents
Track all shipments
Obtain shipping documents from supplier / agent
Review and record shipping details on iSync
Maintain cash flow report
Inform merchandisers of shortages and over shipments, and communicate with merchandisers regarding PO amendments
Review, submit invoices for payment upon receipt
Monitor and announce the arrival of a container / delivery
Receive and verify delivery notes upon delivery
Communicate and plan deliveries with supplier / agent
Obtain invoice from supplier / agent and provide to relevant departments (e.g. fabric warehouse)
Verify and process invoice by completing all checks such as unit price, GRV, status, quantity etc.
Review / calculate price factor, obtain and verify credit notes
Amend landed price
Monitor all shortages, claims and discounts that are to be applied to supplier/ agents
Ensure all invoices and credit notes are submitted to finance department in ample time to facilitate month end payments and weekly dated payments
Plan the collection of return fabric with the supplier/agent and fabric warehouse
Update iSync regarding all shipments and claims etc.
Liaise and provide agent with the correct commercial documents for all clearances
Liaise with fabric warehouse of deliveries to assist with the planning of dispatching and receiving
Provide weekly updates to production, fabric warehouse and merchandisers on delivery for the week
Ensure TT Slips communicated to suppliers.
Ensure Telex release obtained from supplier and communicated to agent
Cross boarder: Verify all invoices from agent for all local clearances and clearance documents
Communicate with agent/s regarding clearance and crossing of consignments
