Job Description

Our client seeks a talented Reservations Administrator for their luxurious property, who will be based at their Head Office handling central reservations for the Lodge.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing bookings and reservations
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining reservation systems
  • Handling payments and refunds
  • Coordinating with internal departments and vendors
  • Generating reports on reservation metrics
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
  • Supporting sales and marketing efforts
  • Training staff on reservation procedures
  • Problem-solving for reservation-related issues
  • Upselling additional services or upgrades
  • Managing customer feedback
  • Maintaining detailed records of reservations
  • Adapting to changing priorities and situations
Qualifications

Hospitality Management Diploma/ Travel & Tourism Diploma or relevant qualification

Skills

The successful candidate must have:

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in using reservation management software or systems
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and payment processing

  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and policies related to reservations
  • Sales and upselling skills may also be beneficial
