About the role Orica is seeking a dynamic and experienced Benefits Specialist to join the Performance and Reward team which forms part of the global Human Resources function on a 12 month fixed term contract . Reporting to the Performance and Reward Manager- EMEA. The Benefits Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the business in the development, implementation of the reward framework to attract, retain, and motivate top talent within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of compensation principles, performance management frameworks, and the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive strategic decision-making. What you will be doing The EMEA Benefits Specialist is accountable for providing support to all aspects of health and wellbeing programs in support of our EMEA employee population. Specific responsibilities include: Support the review of EMEA benefits and rollout of new schemes and enhancements Identify gaps in employee benefit offering across EMEA. Mapping out all cash allowances and benchmark as needed. Work closely with program vendors to drive efficiencies across programs, processes and activities. Partner with EMEA HR team on initiatives that support the wellbeing of our workforce. Manage and deliver on-time reporting, contributions and related activities to ensure compliance with vendor agreements and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with others as needed to implement and drive current and future programs. Active involvement with key vendor partners to ensure compliance with EMEA benefit requirements and regulations. Champion opportunities and initiatives that lead to improved efficiencies, effectiveness, and cost savings related to employee benefit programs. Support global processes as needed. What you will bring Relevant university degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred. 5 years of Benefits experience with exposure to more than one country required. Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable. Experience with insurances, pension plans, Employee Assistance Programs and service awards. Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor and customer relationships.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, ) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute innovative performance and reward strategies.
