The Product Specialist in the field of Engineering Solutions, primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and support to both internal teams and external customers. The Product Specialist – Engineering Solutions will play a key role in understanding customer needs, developing product knowledge, and assisting in the successful implementation and utilization of engineering solutions. The Product Specialist - Engineering Solutions will also focus on both underground and surface mining operations. This includes not just a general overview, but a deep dive into solutions that encompass machine rebuilds, the design, and manufacture of quality wiring harnesses, as well as comprehensive electrical solutions. It's crucial that our specialist is well-versed in these areas to ensure that we meet the specific needs of our clients in the mining sector. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the company's engineering solutions, including software tools, hardware systems, and related products. Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and provide insights to the product development team. Customer Support: Assist customers in the implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of engineering solutions. Collaborate with technical teams to provide timely and effective resolution to customer issues, ensuring customer satisfaction. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process. Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase the capabilities and benefits of engineering solutions. Training and Education: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for customers, sales teams, and internal employees. Enable users to maximize the potential of engineering solutions by providing comprehensive training programs and support resources. Product Testing and Feedback: Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on product performance, usability, and functionality. Participate in product testing and validation to ensure quality and reliability. Market Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices related to engineering solutions. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to drive product enhancements and improvements. Documentation and Communication: Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and product manuals. Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, whitepapers, and case studies to effectively communicate the value proposition of engineering solutions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer success, to ensure effective communication and alignment of product strategies and goals. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering (Electrical and Mechanical) An honors degree is a plus 8 Years' technical experience and solid understanding of engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in using engineering software tools and systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and presentation skills.
