Reference: PS010194-JL-1A well-established industrial pumps company supplying technically advanced products for a variety of industries and applications requires the above to receive, inspect and store incoming materials, equipment, and supplies. Minimum requirements for the role: A High school diploma or equivalent is essential for this role. Must have min 2 year’s experience working as a Storeman or similar role in a warehouse environment. Must be familiar with inventory management software. Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift and move heavy and operate warehouse equipment is essential. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Must have basic computer skills. Forklift certification is preferred but not required (training can be provided). E-mail CVs to jefftalentsphere.world The successful candidate will be responsible for: Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, equipment, and supplies. Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and transactions using inventory management software. Performing regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies. Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers and branches. Coordinating with purchasing and sales departments to fulfil orders and replenish stock. Ensuring proper storage and handling of hazardous materials according to safety regulations. Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assisting with periodic inventory audits and cycle counts. Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks as needed. Reporting any inventory shortages, damages, or quality issues to management. Assisting the workshop with the repair and assembly of pumps and pump sets.
