Technical Lead Cloud Services - BASHR Consulting - Johannesburg

Exciting opportunity for a Technical lead, with the ability to evaluate, optimize and standardize Cloud services has opened up with one of our clients, a global leader in the IT Sector. Duties will include to: Resolve major incidents that are escalated from the operational teams and logging of vendor calls when required. Perform due diligence to ensure services are scoped correctly, risks are highlighted to the business and successfully transitioned to the operational teams. Close the knowledge gap between Remote Managed Services teams and client teams. Set the standards that will be disseminated to the Remote Managed Services teams. Required: 10 years’ experience working in the IT industry .NET C#, PowerShell, JSON, XML beneficial. Experience with networking technologies (e.g., Cisco) Experience with database services and technologies Experience with data centre technologies (e.g., VMware) Experience with backup technologies (e.g., Veeam) Experience with storage systems (SAN) Experience using the Azure Pricing Calculator Good understanding of Azure Infrastructure services and their limitations Experience in configuring & monitoring different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in Azure Have experience in implementing enterprise application using platform services like azure websites, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, notification hubs, event hubs, stream analytics, Document Db, application insights etc Qualifications Required: AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) Certification AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) Certification AZ-500 (Azure Security Technologies) Certification AZ-300 (Azure Solutions Architect – Part 1) Certification AZ-301 (Azure Solutions Architect – Part2) Certification AZ-203 (Developing Solutions) Certification only required if Service Bus, API, Logic Apps, Functions, Event Hub/Grid are required AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer) Certification MCSE Core Infrastructure Certification MCSE Productivity Certification CompTIA Network Certification Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE Certification Prince 2, PMP, SCRUM Master, AGILE (Advantageous) Apply Now
