Job Description Location: Johannesburg, South Africa – Remote (with hybrid office days in Woodmead) Our client who is a South African based Technology services group is seeking a dedicated Traffic Manager to lead their creative team.As a Traffic Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the flow of projects, tasks, and resources.Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects move smoothly through various stages of production, meeting deadlines and adhering to quality standards. You will work closely with different departments to schedule tasks, allocate resources, and resolve conflicts to optimize workflow efficiency Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, creative teams, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, timelines, and priorities. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources including human resources, equipment, and materials according to project needs and availability. Workflow Management: Develop and implement workflow processes to ensure projects progress smoothly from initiation to completion, identifying and resolving bottlenecks as they arise. Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring tasks are assigned, deadlines are met, and dependencies are managed effectively. Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Communication: Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure everyone is informed about project status, changes, and updates. Issue Resolution: Identify and address any issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution, working with relevant stakeholders to find solutions and minimize delays. Performance Tracking: Track and analyze key performance metrics to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of workflow processes making recommendations for improvement as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project details, including schedules, resources, and communications, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to traffic management and workflow optimization, and implement improvements accordingly. The role of a Traffic Manager is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of projects within an organization. By effectively managing resources, schedules, and workflows, you will contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality projects that meet client expectations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Proven experience in project management, traffic management, or a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project management software and tools for scheduling and resource allocation. Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure. Knowledge of workflow optimization techniques and best practices. Familiarity with creative processes and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
