SHIFT WORK REQUIRED Our client is an International Travel Company with offices in America, the UK, Australia and Hong Kong. This role will focus on Corporate Travel but the company has a Music Events Division, Leisure and Private Travel Division and a Production Division. Roles and Responsibilities Manage client travel requirements, including VIP client travel requirements, while anticipating and understanding individual client preferences and needs. Analyse all enquiries and requests received from clients and decide on the best options to offer. Formulate logistical itinerary plans to deliver practical travel solutions, ensuring that budgets and specific requirements are met. Fully service all VIP enquiries, requests, bookings and ticketing with the highest standards and quality documentation. Ensure all air, rail, hotel and/or other ancillary reservations meet company and client expectations. Report, investigate and resolve errors or/and client complaints adhering to the highest standards of customer service. Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately. Manage Quality Control (QC) procedures and tasks. Ensure the company does not incur any financial losses through individual and avoidable errors. Negotiate the best rates and deals from vendors to reduce client expenditure. Assess all potential revenue and income streams for maximum company profitability. Process administrative tasks including accounting queries from both the client and Finance department through to final reconciliation. Assess client credit levels, if applicable, and work in conjunction with the Finance department to ensure payments are received. Complete all desktop files and respond to all communications proactively, promptly, efficiently, and accurately. Ensure all PNRs in Galileo are correct and fully completed. Action all required company tasks and client or supplier processes in a timely and effective manner to ensure correct information is readily available for continuity of service for all team members. Log all client and supplier favours or gifts accordingly. Adhere to PCI regulations in accordance with Company policy. Other Responsibilities: Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of all aspects of Corporate Travel. Develop and maintain positive and valuable relationships with key vendors relevant to client base and support the PSP program. Attend office-based and approved off-site supplier events as required to maintain up-to-date product knowledge. Help retain accounts, repeat business and contracts/agreements. Share business opportunities with the Commercial team. Complete any other general corporate-related tasks as required. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Requirements Education to Degree level or higher, or, in place of education – directly related experience 3 years of relevant experience within a travel agency. GDS experience (Galileo preferred). Proven working knowledge and experience of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, reissues, published airfares, flight and hotel bookings Proven experience of servicing VIP Corporate clients Benefits Medical Aid Contribution.
