Truck Mechanic - South Africa
Our client based in Pinetown is looking for qualified Truck Mechanic - Analyzing problems with engines and rectifying same. - Carrying out routine service on the engine, including oil and filter changes. - Repairing or replacing faulty parts and systems(Electrical and hydraulics) - Sometimes integrating new technology into the engine structure. - Rebuilding engines after their efficient lifetime is over. - Conducting performance tests on vehicle fleets, if overseeing their operation. - Preparing and updating records on service work conducted on engines. - Welding and cutting material if required, using arc welding or flame cutting equipment. - The candidate must be an all rounder and must have knowledge on the complete machine and not limit to one spectrum of the machine. - Own Transport Candidate must be able to work under extreme weather conditions. The candidate will be required to conduct shift
