General Accountability Ensures the effective day-to-day operation of the office by providing professional and courteous administrative support to operations & underwriting staff members as required. Key Job Responsibilities Including Performance Expectations Processing of new and renewed policies Processing and drafting endorsements accurately and efficiently. Credit control – sending statements and allocation of payments/bordereaux. Send and receive emails; prioritize, process, and distribute as appropriate. Maintain procedures for the office. Special projects as assigned Internal Contacts All staff External Contacts Intermediaries Clients (insureds) Educational/Technical Competencies Matric Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar position in insurance RE 1 Strong working knowledge of computers and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook). Proficiency with the Internet and e-mail Salary range between R18- R22k monthly dependant on work experience. Provident fund: Staff member needs to be on the RA with minimum contribution of 6 % Medical aid: Must be on medical aid – proof of membership will be required or hospital plan ( will will be more flexible here) if they don't have we still consider application Company car: no Fuel allowance: no Apply Now
