JOB OUTPUTS Assist in managing the Budget. Oversee maintenance to the vehicle fleet. Manage maintenance of facilities, tools and equipment. Control parts, workshop tools and equipment. Manage administration functions Supervise Workshop Personnel and identify developmental needs. Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations are adhered to in the workshop Monitor Asset Register. Liaise with Manufacturers and Suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery. The ideal applicant will possess the following:- A minimum of Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. Qualified Diesel Mechanic (other Artisan trade qualifications will also be considered). A post matric qualification in the technical / N4 engineering field will be a strong advantage. At least 5-8 years working experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance. At least 2 years in a relevant management position. Proven track record in vehicle fleet management. Market related
