According to Deloitte’s 2017 Millennial Survey, 43% of South African respondents said that they will stay with their current employer for 2 years. This is indicative of the modern mindset. Young people want to experience things and try different jobs at different companies. Only 25% of South African respondents said that they will stay with their current employer for more than 5 years.
The specific question they were asked was: “If you had a choice how long would you stay with your current employer before leaving to join a new organisation or do something different?”
