Account Executive - Johannesburg

This position involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and proposing suitable products or services to meet those needs. The Account Executive is also responsible for driving revenue growth by closing sales deals and contributing to the achievement of sales targets

Requirements:

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing enquiries, providing information, and offering exceptional customer service.
    • Understanding customer business & understanding their customers.
    Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and prospect potential clients through research, networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
    • Conduct needs assessments to understand clients requirements and tailor product or service solutions accordingly.
    • Present and demonstrate products or services to clients, highlighting their value proposition.
    • Develop and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals to win new business.
    • It is the Accounts Executives responsibility to drive the completion of the trialing process once samples arrive. This measured monthly as part of the KPI measurements.

    Sales Process Execution:

    • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contract to closing deals and post-sale follow-up.
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract terms with clients to ensure win-win agreements.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Procurement, Finance and Logistics) to ensure seamless execution of client projects and deliveries.

    Revenue Generation:
    Home

    • Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and targets on a consistent basis.
    • Create and execute strategies to upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing clients.
    • Continuously seek new sales opportunities within existing accounts and new markets.
    • Ensure you drive the process of getting Sales Contracts ordered and approved and close the loop to ensure that the material arrives on the required ETA.
    • Provide feedback, insights and motivate Strategic and Opportunistic Sales.
