Accountant - - South Africa

Technical Competencies & Experience:

5 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, or property beneficial.
Excellent understanding of ERP Accounting systems, especially Sage 300.
Good understanding of VAT laws and experience with E-Filing.
Understanding of data structures, integration, and integrity. Regulatory and Tax accounting, filing and compliance.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
Preparation of annual audit packs.
Preparation of annual budgets and reporting performance against budgets.
MS Office advanced skills (mainly PowerPoint and Excel)
Experience with weekly reconciliation of all control accounts and sub-ledgers.
Experience maintaining non-current asset and liability registers and reconciliations.

Excellent analytical skills.
